This is my favorite model of tuba. I own one from the 90’s and will literally never get rid of it. I play classical tuba and give this model a 10/10 for orchestral playing. I got over the problems with breath control and intonation when I heard how great it sounded. Warren Deck did something right when he was developing this horn.
Picked one of these up for £25 from a charity shop the other day and I am immediately in love. It is so beautiful and loud and you have to wait a few seconds after turning it on for the fan to kick in and make it work

This was the first real cd I had that was just mine and the tchaikovsky remains my absolute favorite violin concerto. as a kid, I remember thinking that the beginning of that concerto was the perfect way for any music to start, and I can’t help but still think of that every time I listen.
The behemoth of an instrument that’s becoming increasingly rare. One time the organ director of a local Christian church took me on a tour into the pipe room, you’re literally stepping inside an instrument.

It has a wide barrel and soft grip that doesn’t exacerbate my carpal tunnel. The ink is smooth and the pen itself is actually kind of pleasant to look at. Bonus points for being refillable, I haven’t used another pen in years. I have it in mauve and gray.
Adds an acidic bite to a filling sandwich. I’ll take them over pickles any time. I see them and I start salivating. I think about peperoncini every day.
