So funny and so moving, made me ask Sophie if this is what theatre is like because if it is I love it. About endings but in a really genuine and approachable way, amazing performers &writers

I haven’t seen a refreshing new play in a while. I went to see this with my mom last night after a long week, and awkwardly sat thru the 2 hours of v4gina-related comedy… More than that, though, was a really beautiful bittersweet play that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love live theatre!!!

Pretty sure I won't be getting an offer but I had a great time anyway. At one point I had to deliver a Shakespeare monologue as if I was a stand-up comedian. Really lovely being surrounded by passionate people, they worked very hard to make it feel like we were all on the same team.

Just finished up a week-long run of Shakespeare's Richard the Third and feeling so proud of everyone involved. I love acting and hope it'll become a bigger part of my life, but even with that said working on this latest production has been so inspirational. I've met and gotten to know so many fantastic people putting their all into theatre as a hobby — for a few of them this was their first time onstage and it was so fun watching them grow and shine as we neared opening night. Personally, my role in the play as the Duchess of York wasn't a key character, but it was one I found massively challenging for a number of reasons — but once we got into live performances something clicked and I felt like with each show I learned something new about myself and the role. I can't recommend this enough as an opportunity to meet new people, push yourself out of your comfort zone, and also guilt your friends into spending nearly three hours in a dark cramped room 😁

Bag is from my mums stash, probably from the 90s but has no labels. Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead by Olga Tokarczuk, only on chapter 2. Notebook, planner I made, red ballpoint pens and pencil tin for watercolours. New glasses now my prescription’s gone up. Lipstick, hair grips and a perfume mini that I don’t want to admit is empty. My wallet, with coffee shop stamp cards, and a prayer card to St Joseph that’s meant to make you immune to traffic accidents and plane crashes. No flight I’ve read it on has gone down yet, and Lou read it before she did a scratch card and won £5, so maybe we’re Catholic now. Silky scarf I got on holiday for my hair. Keys with screaming baby keyring and shiny green bottle opener, plug in headphones & wireless ones.
