Yes I know I’m recommending the granddaddy of all podcasts but you don’t get to be a legend for no reason. Really fascinating and revealing story about the opioid crisis but told in a way that’s an absolute triumph of storytelling. Still remember where I was when I gasped as the full-circle moment. Ira and the gang still got it.

I laugh out loud and tear up during almost every episode, and there are more than 800. What other piece of media can you say that about? Plus Ira Glass and his iconic vocal fry.

it's a segment from an old episode of TAL that they just reposted in their feed. the whole episode is 20 short stories in an hour instead of their typical 3, and this one is made by Maine teenagers in juvie doing important investigative journalism about the pudding in their cafeteria. incredibly funny and charming.

Never before have I so noticeably been able to turn down my anxiety like turning the volume knob on a stereo. Doesn’t make you feel overall as “altered” as weed but just calms the nervous system like a warm bath. I can’t really do weed anymore anyway so I’m very grateful to have found this stuff.

A classic flavor combination that‘s worth a reminder as the weather starts to warm up. Good quality prosciutto or jamón ibérico and fresh juicy melon. I just had some today and forgot what I had been missing out on.
