Been sick with flu for 5 days. Highly recommend when in the midst of it: Self face and neck massages throughout the day with a nice oil, including ears! Steam bath for your face and ears, Very gentle stretching during the day so your muscles don't get too tense if you're lying down lots and resting. Lots of hydration constantly, Fresh air if possible at home.

Don't wet your hair or if you have to wash it, dry it immediately after shower, don't let it air dry or sleep with wet hair. Wear socks ALL DAY EVERY DAY until you feel you're out of danger. Drink ginger, honey and lemon tea waking up and before going to bed Eat all your day's meals on time. Cover yourself to go out (wear a jacket of sweater, unless it's summer. If it's summer hot where you are: try not sweating and then going straight inside spaces with a/c) Don't put a fan directly in front of you (it will make it much much worse) Shower early or mid-day. Avoid night showers or windy weather (even if covered). Try doing all of these until you feel you're stronger or sure you'll not get the cold/flu.

for colds: - the Persians say 'bookhoor' - it is basically a facial steam with essential oils. Take your kettle. boil water. Water in bowl, covered with towel. Pop in eucalyptus, tea tree and lavender essentials (or really anything for an easy breathe). 3 to 5 drops. Don't go wild now, this steam has a bbite. Put your face under the towel for 10 minutes and breathe in the steam. Do it daily until you're recovered. - as the Chinese do, I would avoid eating anything that is cold (e.g. ice cream) or drinking cold drinks with ice (sorry you can't have your iced matcha today) - if you have a sore throat, honey lemon will do you a delight! put some honey into some warm water and dissolve (make sure it's not boiling because it kills the antibodies), squeeze some lemon juice into the water and drink! if you're feeling extra ethnic, add turmeric and garlic to the mix prior to other ingredient. This occurs through a boiling process on the stovetop. - don't go out! also don't go near toxic people! because they will rain on your parade and rain is to be avoided when you are susceptible to getting sick3r - healing prayers <3 if you have the flu pls get your yearly flu shot! make sure you get it significantly way before the colder months arrive wherever you reside, especially.

Ive been on T for awhile now and get read as a cis man most of the time. I generally wear long shorts, hoodies, open shirts with tees etc. When out with mates at safer spaces, I wear small crop tops with baggy pants, mesh shirts, building up to body suits I want to be more femme presenting and have fun with my outfits generally, but I've moved to a small town from London and I don't feel safe or comfortable doing that in public here.

My window is open and I can smell the sea on the breeze coming through. Every now and then, there is a small flash of white bellies in the night sky as gulls fly overhead. I'm not super close to the sea, but high enough to see a small moon dipped crescent of it and the little flickering light of a cruise ship. Cliffs reach out to the left, peppered with the glow of other people still awake at 2AM.
