fennel

my partner and their family got me on using fennel in my mirepoix for soups and it’s lifechanging. i love fennel and it adds so much good flavor. such an unsung hero! 💚

trying new produce

go to the farmer’s market and pick out something you‘ve never had or something you haven’t had in a while!! add novelty to your cooking!! this week i got brussel sprouts (have not made in a Very Long Time) and last week i got leeks (very good in soup & you can use the leaves for vegetable stock)
