I always have white wine in the house, and rosé in the spring and summer. I’m not picky. I go to the store and buy five different kinds and lug it home. As long as its dry, I’ll drink it. But I learned a few years ago that I like “buttery” chardonnay. I always have a bottle of this stuff around. It’s so good, and it’s so cheap. It’s $11.99! And it’s my favorite wine ever. You have to drink it out of a beautiful, thin glass.

i'm a sommelier so i'll somm out here. fav varietals for Spring: {whites} Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chenin Blanc, Riesling (fun to transition to summer too). Rosé and Prosecco are also fun. For reds, I like them slightly chilled and you can't go wrong with a Gamay or Pinot Noir - both are lighter in body with red fruit notes! xx sSs

I asked for something soft, not too bracing. This blend of Chardonnay and Chenin from iconic Loire producer, Christian Venier, was gentle and inviting. For three Danish girls gossiping over tapas, it was the perfect antidote. Enjoyed at Le Dauphin (for the second weekend in a row…)
