read this recently and it’s been mad long since I reaaaaally dug a book like this. so frank and truthful and didn’t feel contemporary- sometimes contemporary gay literature can be a little too I Made You a Cookie But I Eated It vibes but this was so visceral and enriching and wow. Highly recommend

I really struggle to read. I’m one of those people who looks at words and most times don’t read them. Whenever I try to read a book I get distracted and panicked about how I’m gonna turn the page now that I’m soooo comfortable lying down. The last book I read (held the book and listened to it) was Down The Drain by Julia Fox - so you can trust I have TASTE. This book feels very close to home. Very gay, sad, happy, promiscuous. Ten out of ten, if it were a person I’d make out with it.

told myself I would read more this year , maybe a book a month but tore thru this one ferociously in 2 weeks and couldnt put it down. Who knew a book about a slutty gay bored werewolf was what I was missing in my life. Hilarious and relatable just as a bored gay werewolf should be

A v kind (and v hot) human named Mandy gave me this book at a gay bar in Denver when I was but a smol 23-year-old baby queer trying to find my way. While it took me a few tries to finish due to how gut-wrenching it is, I absolutely inhaled it once I decided to commit. Leslie Feinberg writes with piercing clarity, humanity, and ferocity. Zie/She makes me so proud to be queer, and so, so, so immensely grateful to those in the community who came before me. Whether or not you identify on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, this is truly a must-read.Ā

truly America’s pastime. I was reading in the park earlier and overheard a girl dishing about a breakup to her friend who was kinda implying she was in the wrong… and she was like ā€œso did I lie? Yes. But I meant it at the timeā€ and then explained to her friend how the NYT connections puzzles work. I only hope people are as thrilled when they listen in on my crazy ass. I love being nosy

really just stretching your whole body so intensely you’re using muscles you didn’t even know you had and squeaking like a little mouse. wiggling like a worm on the sidewalk after it rains when you poke it with your shoe, but a little slower. maybe more snake than worm. but to each their own
