one of the best ways to pass time by yourself. I didn’t live near water before so I really appreciate my time with it now. The way the sun shines and glistens off of the small waves is soo pretty and calming. I also like to admire the boats in the harbor! I recommend listening to Weyes Blood Titanic Rising. The Maria’s, or Magdelena Bay are also great choices!! If you don’t live near water, take time to sit and admire the rustling leaves of trees or the harmony of a city skyline or homes in a neighborhood :)
Some friends of mine have the filp phone that’s touch screen. She is able to customize it with cases and charms, even her Home Screen and the screen on the outside is cute!! I’m heavily debating. The only down side, from what she says, is that the screen can sometimes come off (if you have a protector on).
Back in school I made a few friends from different countries.
I did my best to understand them when they didn’t know much English and even taught myself a few phrases that I thought would make them feel more comfortable and welcomed.
They learned a few phrases and even learned Spanish ones to be able to communicate with other Spanish speaking friends.
It was such a fun time. All of us learning from each other and sharing our cultures. I miss that feeling and those tender friendships.
It showed me the care and willingness that people push themselves to in order to include others and themselves.
I feel that people should be open to that. It could stop so much hostility and impatience around us.
