Wonder why developers get everything they want? Realtors association of America is the #2 lobbying organization in the US. Why do pharmas get away with so much? #3 is Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America. #1 is Chamber of Commerce so business holds the biggest seat at the table. Dunno if this is considered conspiracy theory or conspiracy fact.

A phrase that has probably been overused by that friend who has done a few too many substances and watched a few too many YouTube videos with <10 likes, BUT it's true. If you want to know where allegiances lie, this is a good place to start. Especially when it comes to "neutral" wealthy benefactors or even corporations that claim to be apolitical.

- How American astronauts had about a 10 year period where they had to launch in Soyuz spacecrafts out of Kazakhstan (vs. American shuttles out of Cape Canaveral) and the US gov has to purchase seats for Americans on said space craft. We spent about $4 billion on those seats. - How money begets money begets money….and particularly the way it is all incubated in private high schools and universities. what is the justification for limiting/gutting access to social services/benefits for low income or impoverished individuals, yet allowing a form of corporate agricultural welfare through crop insurance? additionally, how do you reconcile this given that mine and your tax money could be funding crop insurance? 62% of all crop insurance for industrial farming is subsidized by the federal government (this is very dry and not at all a big hot take or “gotcha!“ for conservatives - But I grew up in the country hearing about rich farm families complaining about welfare collecting immigrants - would love to hear if they know they are bankrolled by the government for their cash crops)

It’s a national treasure and they’ve raised over $4 million dollars for AIDS research and prevention. And the place is stupid fun. Great replacement for big box, Amazon, Shein or Temu type outlets if you’re near Philly.

You grow a tall thing like corn, you grow a climbing thing like pole beans that uses the tall thing like a trellis then you grow a squash that is low with big leaves that serve as shade and protection for the other two. It’s an indigenous practice, so traditionally it’s done with corn, but I’m very curious about adapting it to quinoa or sorghum.
