There is something kind of comforting watching his videos while unable to do anything. I used to really like his reviews when I was in middle/high school and it brings me back to days home from school while sick where I would lay in bed and binge his videos for hours.
Whenever I get sick I love a constant flow of comforting movies. I also deeply enjoy a theme. When I get really sick and can spend a whole day doing nothing, I decide on about 5 movies and get to it. Last year I did Jane Fonda movies, this year was the hunger games. Glorious. Also really funny to log on Letterboxd
Those movies that you always go back to when you’re feeling down, the books that never fail to get you out of a reading slump, the TV show you’ve rewatched a million times while folding laundry, the 4 hour YouTube video you’ve watched with at least 3 other people because it‘s endlessly entertaining, the playlist from when you broke up with your ex and went to Europe that gets you scrolling through trip photos, the box of cinema tickets and cards and keepsakes you’ve kept from throughout the years that just has you reminiscing, the old CDs that have you turning up your speakers and jumping on your bed.
i totally get it, if i can enjoy one episode of good tv or a whole youtube video (even if its "dumb content") without scrolling my phone I feel good about it then sleep like a lil angel!
My friend Liam got sent these by accident when he ordered vans and gave them to me since they sent him size 13. These shoes are goofy and I don't know who would buy them but I wear them all the time because I think they're really fun and have a lot of character.
