Sometimes filmmaking is peeling logos off of bottles with hot water and a pocket knife for hours. Sometimes its becoming an expert on Sanatoriums. Sometimes it’s digging through recycling bins for a week or knowing where every single catholic church is in your city.
Even if you aren’t into film, lots of skills to learn from one, most important IMO is learning how to work under pressure/time limits!!
plus it’s just super duper fun making a movie w some friends :)
went on an impromptu trip out of town to visit a coworker/friend who was filming their first horror project a few weeks ago. always fun to watch the filmmaking process. and even more fun to be involved in it
There is something so addicting about two socially awkward indie men with sideburns that produce just enough cringe to where it’s enjoyable and has me questioning what i’m attracted to.
