My best high school friend moved to Vienna so one way for us to keep in touch is engaging in a Spotify shared playlist b2b. The rules are: 5 tracks each that match the previous tracks vibes (sort of) and listening and reviewing the music. It’s so cute to listen and discuss each other’s music. I just started listening to a playlist my friend made in high school with the title of our favorite coffee shop we’d always go to. I could feel her soul in that playlist and it felt like a time stamp of who we were in that moment.

a copy of the playlist my two best friends and I made when we were first getting to know each other. began as us sharing our favs, evolved to music we all enjoyed that could be shuffled when we hung out, and devolved into chaos as we tried to add musical jump scares of guilty pleasures and otherwise debaucherous tunes. shuffle and enjoy.
