Starring Billy Crystal and Danny DeVito. The scene that hit me was when Danny‘s character asked Crystal’s character if he wanted to check out his coin collection. Crystal said hell naw because he didn’t really like DeVito anyway so he didn’t care. But eventually he came around and DeVito one-by-one laid out a quarter, a quarter, a nickel, a dime, another dime.
Crystal’s character said something along the lines of coin collections are supposed to be worth something. DeVito said “OH they are! This quarter? I got change when I went to the cinema with my dad to see…“ etc etc.
I can’t remember exact lines from the movie. But I loved his character confidently placing worth in something that people would normally only look at for its monetary worth. It challenged my initial capitalistic-brained reaction.
