i know this sounds so obvious but since i went back to print publications inspiration has sky rocketed. the itnernet is a loop of adverts being fed to you and i just love love love the act of seeing something i like - carefully cutting it - adding to my sketchobook - growing my collection of beautiful refs yummy yummy
go get magazines or books from the thrift store and make some art. functional sometimes even,,??!?!! this is the lid to a box i will store trinkets in. one of these cut outs is from a magazine i photo copied for a quarter cuz i didnt wanna ruin the original. theres so many possibilities ! ive even used junk mail newspaper ads that usually get thrown away
