The way this film has impacted me is going to make me write an essay about it at some point. I canāt believe it didnāt get any attention when it came out. Thereās something so special about it. Maybe it is the music that did this to me!? You just have to watch it and then hit me up. I could actually talk about it for an hour. The last movie I saw that made me feel this way was āLionā with Dev Patel and that was years ago.
I feel the same. I couldnāt see it in theaters so I patiently waited for it to be available for streaming. I was so moved I just sat there and cried afterwards. Zach Efron played his role beautifully- so much strength and so much tenderness. I wish he got more recognition for it.
mossyelfie I feel validated! :) I watched it 3 times already haha and I agree his acting was out of this world it makes me want to experience 80ās Texas
Can't even begin to describe how much I've loved this movie. For context- I've just finished watching the movie. I've heard a lot of people say they watched a movie or read a book and it changed their life forever. I've never actually believed that. I didn't think a movie or a book could do that, atleast for me. But this movie, I think this might be my answer from now on when someone asks me this question.
Maybe I'm just in the feels rn and my life won't change at all. But no movie has made me write a post about it at 2:23am.
So yeah I'll highly recommend you do if you haven't watched it already lol.
I fantasize about moving somewhere different every 3 months and itās her turn now. Thereās a 17 million dollar home on some cliff out in Maine and I dream of living there specifically :)
(Madonna in a Fur Coat by Sabahattin Ali) I read this book at my social sciences high school in Turkey and to this day it is my favorite book. Iāve never teared up at the end of a book before or after this one actually. I need to reread it - it was so touching ugh.
