I used to fuss over my plants almost every day, obsessing over their perfect conditions, moving them around, etc. now I mostly just let them do their thing and they’re fine. Water them when you know in your heart they need water, fertilizer when you feel like it, repot them when you remember to. They’re plants. They’ll be okay. dont stress over it
The plant that got me into plants was a snake plant. before having a snake plant i used to kill my succulents because i overwatered them. snake plants taught me that it's ok to leave some plants without watering. the original snake plant gave me two baby plants and only needed water once a month! every plant is different and it's important to realize that very few plants need water daily!
I got these really tiny accordion books last year and I’ve been using them for super long form exquisite corpses- this one has been going since April and just finished today! Friends and strangers all worked on it with me, and now they are all trapped in my little book :-3
Gazpacho only in the late summer, persimmons only in the winter, etc. just because we can import anything from anywhere anytime doesn’t mean we should. Nothing is special if you can have it whenever you want it.
