I used to be the person who only considered someone my friend if they were one of my CLOSE friends. I always felt that anything other than that was surface-level and not worth having.
But as Iโve grown up Iโve grown to appreciate the fact that there are many different types of friends and I can enjoy them for what they are. Not every friend I have needs to be the closest friend who I can share my deepest secrets with.
I appreciate the friends that i only see once every few years, low maintenance friendships, uni-friends, friends that i only talk about movies with, friends of friends etc.
Just trying to embrace happiness wherever i can find it.
