I’m just fortunate enough to qualify, with me being an emerging artist and all. One has to equip themselves with a full arsenal.

Staying at the Roxy in NY (formerly the Tribeca Grand) is akin to being on an elegant cruise in Manhattan. It’s my home away from home in the city. Everything is there: from live jazz in the massive atrium lobby with the glass elevator zipping up and down and the divine food and drinks (I recommend the lobster roll and a mescal cocktail) in recessed leather booths shaped like teacups, to the gorgeous red velvet theater below - which offers the best films on screen in Manhattan - curated by the brilliant Illyse Singer. Made a WhatsApp group with all my film friends in it and have been using it coordinate going to screenings. It's so much fun! There's loads of little independent screenings happening where I live and some very good independent cinemas, but even if all you have is a TV you should start a film club too. This evening I'm off to an old pub that's been converted into an events space to watch The Garden by Derek Jarman 😎

My style is at an all time high due to the fact I am currently single and have a lot of time to focus on me, myself, and I. I also live down the street from the location on classon which is run by these brilliant Puerto Rican women who wash everything in the store and take no shit. They never give me anything off and they’re so passive aggressive if you’re in the store pass closing. I love it. I have a whole process when sourcing vintage. Everything I wear has come from this store! The prices are super cute

This place might be a ghetto self service studio for independent artists. However this place has held me down during my recording process. Thank god for my collaborator Max Rewak for being the best, most patient engineer on earth, we finished my ep “Pinch” at Pirate and recorded some of the tracks for “blast” here.
