2019 i was like what’s the scariest shit possible and decided to go as a white man. went uniqlo got a checked shirt, had that tucked into some khaki dickies with grey new balances and a dad hat shook everyone’s hand with real gusto saying “how do you do” and shit
2020 i was like how do i top last year i nailed it and after much deliberation i went as a skater boy. didn’t shower for 5 days prior - then wore some nike blazers, went urban jungle got some size 42 jeans cut them off and wore with shoelace belt, big tee, vintage carhartt zip hooded work jacket i borrowed from my flatmate, noah beanie with the cigarette in the cuff, and 2 modelo tall boys in a jansport backpack i borrowed off a friend
2021 i realised quickly to complete the trifecta of fear i had only one option - to go as a male manipulator. wore some kleman padrors, pink socks, dickies with the THICC cuff so you can see the socks, tucked in golf wang tee i borrowed off a friend over a striped uniqlo long sleeve, carhartt beanie with logo at front, keys on carabiner. asked people that night about movies and books as much as possible

it's either one or the other, but when they do clash, i just end up dressing like this
if brit grandpa, it's loafers & socks, some pleated trousers, a knitted pullover with a basic white or black tee underneath. sometimes the pullover will be changed for an oversized blazer. if i'm feeling more sophisticated, the basic tee will get switched for a button up
if it's skater boy, you've seen enough of them to know the fits, but here's an example anyways: baggy pants (cuffed cause i am a hobbit and i refuse to swiffer the city streets with the hem of my pants), a band or graphic tee underneath an oversized hoodie or layered with flannel, converse/vans slip ons/adidas superstars, rings and a baseball cap
