for about a month since Iāve been reunited with her. itās from the 60s or 70s and I bought it at a vintage shop in the mountains in New Mexico when I was 19 we were separated until my dear sister found it in her closet and shipped it to me with an assortment of dried chile peppers from home!!! š¶ļø beat up suede (that could obviously use a good cleaningā¦) with a metallic gold leather strap + interior and sassy red zippered pocketā¦ two compartments on the inside. Less relevant to your question because I donāt need to carry much I like to keep it light! but I still wanted to share š«¶

Because the beige is cool and medium enough in tone that it can go with light colored outfits or with darker edgier looks itās super versatile and convenient to carry and I like the cross body/top handle combo and magnetic closure itās the Allsaints mini Captain toteā¦

my first real big girl bagā¦ i bought her off of ebay and she is such a gorgeous shape, just the right size for the essentials and a little more!!! can def slide a book in there for on the go reading and fits beneath the arm perfectly <3
but! if i am being realā¦ the true key to comfort and versatility is having a staple bag of each size (s, m, l, plus a collapsible tote if needed) to assist you in lifeā¦
typically i am much more casually dressed so a leather purse feels too much at timesā¦ i then turn to my baboon to the moon crescent crossbodyā¦ so many pockets! for nights out, i have my baggu shoulder bag, i find that its the perfect size for the essentials and once again fits nice and slug under the armā¦ ta da!

My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebodyābe it a relative or one of my best friendsāwas to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too š
