I tried so many different branded hair masks and nothing has worked as well for me as just pure coconut oil. I buy a big tub of cold pressed 100% pure coconut oil and apply a generous amount all over my scalp (about 2 tbsp), leave it for as long as possible (if i have no where to go I put a little cap on and leave it all day), then work shampoo into my hair dry (oil doesn’t mix well with water) then wash out and condition. it leaves my hair feeling so nourished and clean!

Sorry this is so long 😅 I have straight, fine hair and I currently use the Herbal Essences rose hip shampoo. It's really great at adding shine and making my hair smooth and soft (also smells yummy 😋). I've also used the Maui Moisture lightweight hydration shampoo (the pink bottle) and liked it. Another thing that has been a game-changer for my hair is double shampooing! Because my hair is so straight and fine, it gets oily very quickly. I discovered double shampooing recently (which is just shampooing twice) and it gives my hair a little volume and it can last longer without looking greasy. I do every other day! For conditioners/leave-ins I highly recommend anything with jojoba oil! My hair LOVES it and since I'm assuming we have similar hair types yours might love it too. This is an add-on but the Tsubaki Fino hair mask is affordable and makes my hair sooooo shiny!

Ok introduce a mask once a week there are lots of options would help to have more info on your hair type and issues but! Generally speaking For hair masks: kerastase Virtue (I like the one in navy blue tub) k18 Leonor greyl Then also Leave in treatments just load it on at night and try to leave it in for like 16-18 hours I do this the night before a day I know I’m just gna wear my hair up for this I like: -olaplex 3 -olaplex 8 -shu uemura overnight serum (I reviewed it on instyle lol https://www.instyle.com/shu-uemura-essence-absolue-overnight-serum-review-8418139 ) A bonus - add in an oil p much anytime can be on clean her or on top of the ends after an overnight treatment. I like: -Roz treatment oil -kerastase oil (the one in a gold pump bottle) -shu uemura essence absolute hair cream (oil cream hybrid) -Elemis body hair and nail oil (multi use and i love her)

There’s a creator on Instagram and tiktok called Lauren_dozier and she makes the most lovely flower shaped cookies I made them recently and they turned out quite well- I used a ‘no spread’ sugar cookie recipe and gel food colouring 💓

We are so lucky to have such a wealth of music at our fingertips. The trial and error of working out what you like is so satisfying- once you find a song you like, you’ll find an album of theirs you love, a duet they’ve done with another artist who is now your new favourite, and so on. Let your music taste snowball! old soul is my favourite, here are some recs: Let’s Say Goodbye Tomorrow - Jimmy Ruffin It’s All Right - Sam Cooke Misty Blue - Dorothy Moore Security - Otis Redding Dearest Darling - Etta James There is so much to explore!

Paper-based activities bring me back to my childhood, if I’m feeling extra-nostalgic I’ll sit on the floor and craft with all my journaling supplies spread about me. It satiates something in me, to use my hands to create; my life ask less and less for dexterity, and requires less and less sitting on the floor all afternoon- it is meditative <3
