The best movie about hypnosis that's not actually about hypnosis. One of those movies where if you watch it at home you have to pause it multiple times to deal with the mounting tension. Also features arguably the best last shot in film history.
I plug this movie (nay, film) every chance I get. An even better worm opera than Dune. Possibly the most economical script of all time. I could say more, but why delay your journey into its 96 minutes of Perfection?
I feel like nobody except for my immediate family has ever talked about this movie. I feels like a fever dream. Every element makes me feel crazy for explaining to people. Plus it has one of my favorite Christopher Walken performances ever.
This movie rips. Was a lil sleepy when I put it on and it woke me the fuck up! Also this may be my favorite poster of all time—the image and title combo is so compelling.
Last Thursday, a meteor appeared in the night sky over Los Angeles. I stood in place for 30 seconds watching it blaze brilliant red and orange before fizzling out suddenly. The experience moved me immensely and filled me with a sense of hope that I hadn’t felt in quite some time. I read later that it was a SpaceX satellite. I wish I hadn’t.
There's something about a wet and humid early morning that heals my soul. It's like a free sound bath. Especially if you are lucky and have a little bit of thunder alongside.
