I recently concluded this to be the best garment ever created. It’s my closet staple I continue to grab, year after year. 1. It’s unisex 2. Not sustainably made, but these things last forever! And if your whites aren’t “whiting” you can easily bleach it back to its’s prime. 3. It’s size inclusive! 4. They come in many different colors. 5. This shirt can be as wholesome or as sexual as you want. Please, name a better closet staple and I will be delighted!

The perfect white t-shirt

I have to start off this recommendation with an apology, as for all your Northern Hemisphere-based folks wont be able to find this easily as I stock up when I go home to Australia. BUT, in all my years of hunting for the perfect white t-shirt that hangs just right, I have found my holy grail. Specifically, the Boody men’s crew neck t-shirt (NOT the new “classic” which is mostly viscose, ew), bit the original which is 95% bamboo. I buy them in a Small and they are the perfect oversized t-shirt. Buttery soft, expensive-looking and, most importantly, stay looking fresh after they’ve tumbled about in a washing machine. I’m hoarding a few!

Waffle Thermals

Some of the most versatile pieces of my wardrobe are my 2 or 3 creamy/white thermal waffle shirts. They look sick under a tee or just on their own. These thermals aren’t only there for the look though, originating out of necessity (as the best things often do), they offer a base layer to keep the wearer warm in the colder months at a low “bulkiness cost”. Because of this you get the best of both world - form and function.
