Very nice on its own and I’ve also done a glass of 1/4 Blueberry Elderflower Beverage or 1/4 To The Power of Seven Red juice (both from Trader Joe’s) and 3/4 Blueberry Hibiscus Topo Chico on ice (a big square ice cube from a silicone mold)- super refreshing.
In the fall, I love steeping lemon tea in apple cider! And if you haven't gotten a strongly gingery ginger beer and added a bit of it to an iced matcha, what are you doing? Another fall fave is 1 part 100% unsweetened cranberry juice, 1 part apple juice, and 1 part ginger ale. And I just made iced herbal tea from a blend of 1 raspberry zinger, 1 orange and peach, and 1 mint medley. I know orange and mint might make people question this, but all the flavors are working so well together and it's so refreshing so don't knock it til you try it :]
being traditionally cool is really quite boring and iterative, and it’s actually very cool and sexy to geek out about something you like or share bits of knowledge on a topic you’re passionate about
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WORKER’S DAY!!!! i love having a union, i love being a union steward and getting to support my unit. when my union won its contract, i got a pay bump, better benefits, and increased protection as a worker. 🥳
unions help address racial and gender pay gaps, issues workplaces impose on families and those having kids, addressing unsafe conditions, plus things like better health insurance, wages and overtime, weingarten rights to representation, and more!!!
if you don’t have a union but are thinking about forming one, check out AFL-CIO’s page (linked) or Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee. there’s always more power in a union!! ✊🥖🌹
