the works of Carlo Rovelli show that, as the universe is made up of finite quanta, the Big Bang was more likely to have been a big bounce, where a universe was sucked into a singularity (much like in a black hole) and then the pressure bounces back out again. (I have butchered that explanation). but I believe when the universe ends another will bounce out, like this one may have before.

had a cool conversation after popping the question: “if you die in one universe does your consciousness go into another version of you, in a parallel universe, where you didn’t die?” check out the egg theory too! i highly recommend if you’re into this kind of thing

In an infinitely expanding universe, all knowledge is a fraction of infinity, and being so, will always equal zero. So stop jumping to conclusions

I am by no means traditionally religious, but I fully understand how being in the presence of beautiful stained glass can feel like being with god. ALWAYS stop off at a church on the way if you think it might have good stained glass. The bluebells in the bottom right corner of this made me loose my breath for a moment.

I used to be envious of people who had “MySpace friends” or “tumblr friends”. Now I have PI.FYI friends. Thank you capyboppy for your lovely letter and this illustration of a capybara and a mouse with fruit on our heads, it made me weirdly emotional ❤️
