If it has a metal lid run some hot water on it and it will expand! Otherwise you can poke a hole in the lid as well to release pressure or use a ant slip sock on your had to increase the grip :)))

Then abruptly bang a few different points on the edge of the lid against some hard surface. Now twist. Voila

You don't have to death-grip the lid as tightly when there's actual grip. Just wrap one around the lid (thicker ones work better than the one in the picture), and voila! We always have some on a hook for random things like this.

you can pick em up at the dollar store and they’re made specifically for this task. it’s all about friction, not just strength! these little puppies will help you friction-max and pop that lid right off. if it’s still tough, give a hard tap with the dull side of a knife, leaving a dent every 45 degrees or so around the edge (of a metal lid), and it’ll loosen up.

my phone broke and I was broke. so I had to go though 2 months of no phone. I have never been so peaceful. I now know the route to get to places (because I had no maps). Got the habit of only replying to texts at 6:30pm and make plans for the next day at that time. I read so many books and was so notinfluenced by social media. Even the things I was eating changed a lot, no more fast meals you can make in less then 5 min, instead I asked my grandma what to cook and guys it’s awesome. BREAK YOUR PHONE
