15 minutes of 100 % focus It sounds annoying but it’s the truth. Use an app to block websites or apps on your devices. Gamify it. 5-10% every day. If it takes less than 2 minutes; do it now. You can do it!

I have tried half a dozen app blocking apps and this is the only one that works for me. if I’m being honest it’s not the cutest/best ux (like the other trendier ones) BUT it actually keeps me off instagram and other garbage so I guess that’s the point right? I let myself into instagram 3x a day for 5 minutes each time and honestly? I sometimes get to like 9pm and realize I’ve opened that stupid app 0 times. I have little blockers on everything. even email and safari! I don’t need to google things the minute it pops into my dang head!

Prevents me from spending an unwell amount of time on instagram and twitter. It shows you how many times you’ve tried to get on an app in the previous 24 hours and makes you do some extremely annoying task beforehand. Bonus points if you turn on front facing camera so you are forced to look at yourself every time you go to sad scroll. It is rewiring my brain to feel disgust when I click on those evil apps
