Having a kid

10/10 experience if you’ve got the right partner. It’s like having a little dummy that’s 50% you and 50% your partner. Nothing like being the ONLY DAD THAT IS OUT & ABOUT BECAUSE I AM A STAY-AT-HOME PARENT FIGHTING OFF TRADITIONAL GENDER ROLES.

Having kids that are polar opposites

Our almost 4 yr old is sweet as pie and gentle… a sensitive little princess. She hates doing anything “wrong” and enjoys sitting calmly at the table drawing or doing crafts. Our 19 month old is pure chaos. Trying to climb the stairs when we look away for 0.5 seconds and jump off stuff. He has this sneaky grin that shows off adorable little dimples. It keeps us on our toes as parents to have very different kids and I think it evens things out maybe??
