I used to work for a self driving truck company out of Boston and in 2021 I got to work on the web app that allowed for non technical folks to operate the vehicle. We had a small web development team, of which I was the only backend engineer, that worked with the robotics engineers that worked on the vehicle to build out the workflows for how the truck operated and create an interface and communication with the vehicle. It was awesome being there the first time someone pressed a button on the interface and the truck lurched forward. It couldn't have been done without the collaboration within the whole team!

during my period of unemployment, i made a vue.js app that lets the user play the game of 24. never worked with this framework before but it is now one of my favorites. plus i created some of the visual assets with procreate.

I met Erin (@RIOTGRRRL) and Jake (@SLOWDAZZLE) last year after I started using PI.FYI—we organized a meetup before a Jonathan Richman show and immediately clicked over our shared taste in music and similar sensibilities. We started hanging out a lot and had some great times together. I’ve also gotten to know many of their friends, who are all really cool. Erin and Jake started dating a couple of months after the three of us became friends, but our group chat still pops off. Their friendship has meant a lot to me, especially since moving to NYC in 2023, and I really appreciate having them in my life.
