Not over the ear but Iโve been really impressed by them. Not just for music but tv/movies too. Watching a movie on Apple TV with them sounds like a movie theater to me.
Over ears, Audio Technica and Sony are the go-to brands for affordable headphones (<$150 or so, I think)
I have AT over ears that I like. Theyโre monitor headphones, though, so they might sound dull to you after Beats.
I also have some fancier Hifiman headphones that I liked a lot, but I just use the AirPods now.
