travelpro is preferred by people who travel a lot because it works, LV and Gucci are preferred by people who want strangers to think they're rich (but are not stylish).
Rimowa has some heat behind it, but I don't know if I'd call it stylish because it's a suitcase.
hard shells can scratch and dent. soft shells cannot. Soft shells are thus more durable and better. but they kind of all look ugly. I'd just accept that.

Ever since I got this cabin-sized rolling luggage at a French department store (my suitcase had broken on a trip) I have not even considered getting something more expensive because there is nothing wrong with it and no part of it feels worn out or damaged, years later. It fits all my stuff every time because the outside is a little flexible.

I canβt vouch for this suitcase, but I can for this company. I bought a a camera shoulder bag from them a DECADE ago and I still use it on the regular. Durable and well designed. Their suitcases have a distinctive look but are pricey. But you can count on them being practical and functional too.

I've been enjoying new clothes, and experimenting them with fun ways, so much lately that I need to keep reminding myself of this. Not every excursion outside needs to be fresh and new and experimental. If I am going out and I need a warm sweater and I need my sneakers and I already have a fit in mind with those pieces, I can just wear it, I don't need to reinvent the wheel every time.
