On a 2-week Japan trip as I write this. Picked up the July Checked right before the trip and have been enjoying it since.
Hereās what I like:
- Spacious
- Aluminum corners are stylish (couldnāt decide if I wanted a full aluminum or polycarbonate bag)
- Included laundry bag
- Zipper spaces
- Ways to press down luggage including tightening belts I did get mine with the Motherās Day discount but they have a sale going on now too it seems!
Idk thereās something cute about their stuff and I always feel like itās a more fun trip when Iām carrying it through security lol with the bright colours etc etc Also my Kipling carry-on has withstood sandstorms, typhoons, monsoons etc. and is still going 8+ years strong! It makes for a great travel bag. Havenāt tried their luggage but have heard equally great things š¦āØ
Got lucky and found this bag at roughly around $45.00 (converted from PHP) in good nearly unused condition. Thoughts:
1. Denim was way thicker than what I thought it was going to be. Not selvedge-thick but also shouldnāt be too packed and heavy like Iām normally used to.
2. Design definitely has Gaultier trademarks that made it an immediate purchase. Really liked the button hole details around the rim of the bag.
3. Would have liked for more height though (my 15ā laptop ruins the shape and didnāt want to risk stretching it).
I have to travel every other week for work and having a reliable bag that can hold everything I need is a must. I recently bought a Rimowa Cabin Classic in Paris and my life abroad has gotten significantly easier. The classic aluminum design is not only light and structurally sound but looks really cool and rugged. I go everywhere with it!
I work overnight and because Iāve adjusted my sleep schedule, I find myself getting hungry after having a regular dinner. I try to fill that with protein-based snacks like Quest products or protein bars. Sometimes Iāll switch it up with popcorn and something sweet, or some mixed nuts.
Iāve done this before, but today I went on a long drive to find out the place I wanted to go to was closed. On my long (and frustrating) drive back, I started to think about stuff on my mind. Todayās topic was physical vs streaming media. I opened up a new voice memo and while I was driving, just let it record. I have about a 30-40 minute recording of my mind just going off about both sides. I find it rather pleasant to do, even if I didnāt find a solution at the end of the rant.
