at least from crime and punishment. unsure if this tops my favorite quote from white nights. Iโm sure there will be many more, this manโs writing is so amazing
This book is excellently written; the first-person narration and the division between the first part (an explanation of the narrator's philosophical ideas) and the second part (an account of an episode in the narrator's life that put his philosophical ideas to practice) are a great gateway to his later works.
I have an irrefutable habit of never choosing to accept a side, in any argument, ever. I have the ability to see the positives and drawbacks of each scenario. Itโs helped me gain an array of experience and I seem to like that about myself!
