Film Forum is the OG but Metrograph is younger and hungrier, with a more diverse slate of films and an emphasis on rediscovered or neglected classics. Great atmosphere too, with a restaurant and bookstore. you can’t go wrong!

Screen Slate

i don't live in NYC anymore but when i did for a beautiful brief moment screen slate was my best friend. basically a collectivized list of all the repertory cinemas and their respective showtimes for the day, plus a summary of current art exhibitions currently on display at various museums. doing a cheeky two day trip to the big apple at the end of march and you already KNOW i'm using this goated site to plan my days.

By nxworries is a good r&b/rap mix (my fav is keep her) Maybe in nirvana by smino (fav is hoe-nouns) Since winona by Alex banin is another alternative r&b banger (doc whiler) Mutt by leon Thomas is so good. It’s r&b (I do is so addictive) Pivot by Lou Val is an experimental/alternative r&b album (kemets got the blue is so good you’ll like it)
