i crave action and ridiculousness from my entertainment and both of these shows give me that. i’ve only recently gotten into the boys but i’ve really enjoyed it so far. the satire is a+ and i think that the actors do an amazing job. it can be pretty gory though so if that’s a turn off i get it! 911 is sooooooo ridiculous (think grey’s anatomy meets glee) (and it was also made by ryan murphy lol) and i love how soapy it is. i watch it with a grain of salt due to the copaganda that inherently comes with those kinds of shows though.
For ridiculousness/comedy, I recommend Community, Always Sunny and Cobra Kai (cringe at many points but so worth it imo)
I have also been getting into Succession! I havent finished it yet— I have also heard it gets pretty crazy, so fair warning for that
for nostalgia, I always go back to Liv & Maddie or Henry Danger
those shows are so incredibly cheesy it’s healing. ive seen them tens of times each
I am also starting to watch Gilmore Girls with my s/o and its interesting so far:)
this guy is my hero vvv
I recently starting watching 9-1-1 and the way the show can jump from melodrama, to sitcom, to horror/thriller and back again all in the span of one episode is insane. They'll have only two episodes dedicated to a TSUNAMI and casually return to their regularly scheduled program right after. Completely unhinged television and I fear I am addicted.
comedy:
seinfeld
curb your enthusiasm
always sunny in philadelphia
nathan for you
trailer park boys
drama:

I love a good dramedy tbh. barry does that really well
my fave show is probably the x files or sopranos though 💅
on my old car i used to have a bumper sticker that said “i hope you have a good day” on it. one day i came out of the grocery store and someone had left a note on my car on a sheet of paper from their notebook that said “i hope YOU have a good day!” i think about the person that went out of their way to leave that note a lot and hope that they know how sweet that was. i kept the note and put it in my junk journal/scrapbook and when i’m having a bad day i like to look at it.
