I’m so mad because i wrote a huge list of horror movies

which I had shared with friends last October and I thought I saved it somewhere in my Notes app but it’s lost in the ether :( I’m a huge horror fan and former obsessive. I’ll recommend just a few: Tod Browning’s Freaks (1932) — watched this on TCM the morning before my like tenth birthday party and it rocked my world forever… sad and disturbing The Others (2001) — gorgeous gothic atmospheric soooo creepy and Nicole Kidman is a vision Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) — details the last days of a troubled beautiful teenage girl named Laura Palmer… heartbreaking examination of traumatic cycles and evil forces. I would recommend that you watch the show first though 🤓 Barbarian (2022) — this goes against like everything you said you wanted but I have to put it on here because it’s so scary and expertly paced and filled me with dread but it’s also hilarious! It has to be my favorite recently released horror movie

MY FAVSS

almost all saw movies are really good, save for like any between 5 and Jigsaw. One I really liked was Saw X, although its more recent and not super super horror based but still rly good Hellraiser 1 and 2 are pretty good, but from what Ive heard the rest arent as good some REALLY good ones like personal faves, gotta be GET OUT, NOPE, literslly any jordan peele movie is good. War of the Worlds is also really good, and def scary at parts. And a longstanding enduring classic has to be Blair Witch Project. BONUS SECTION - I know u asked for games on a liw end pc before, but if you ever wanna see some really scary and fucked ip horror games, play/watch Alien: Isolation (my FAVORITE horror game if all time), and the Blair Witch GAME, both are amazing for their time and genuinely terrify me today.

people loveee to say that they don’t let their politics interfere with their personal life, but the fact of the matter is that there is no disentangling them from each other. your political beliefs are influenced by your personal beliefs and vice versa. there is no separating them.
