My pinterest is full of film stills and iconic costume moments. When I'm dressing I like to approach it the same way as if I'm styling a character. How do my outfits express my motivations, my wants, where I am in life etc.? I like to think about what I am drawn to but also what I want to convey about myself. You're telling a story. clothes are for playing pretend
...to me that's the most fun part - like wearing different outfits so I CAN be different everyday. Themes covered so far include "Princess Diana gymcore", "Jack Sparrow but in the 80s", "golf dad on The Magic Schoolbus" "Fleetwood Mac groupie" etc. etc. Hype yourself up, you think it's cute, it's your outfit, and who are you dressing for first, if not for yourself?
