one of my favorite bands! their first album Guppy gives Veruca Salt vibes but they've moved in a more pop direction since then and imo do both well. they have a new album and tour coming up and i really recommend seeing them live, they're so fun and high-energy that i was in a better mood for the rest of the week. got to meet them after the show and they were all super nice which is a bonus :)

this album is genuinely fantastic! i would describe it as a screamy alternative rock album, definitely with influences from hardcore, emo, and indie rock. that being said, i think that it is still suuuuper palatable for people who don't tend to listen to music that's as hard as what i listen to πŸ˜… i went to the album release show back in march on the night of its release and the show was MAGICAL! i also saw Zeta open for them and they are also actually so goated. genuinely one of the best shows i've been to in a very long time :P ps- the rest of their discography is also insane plsss give them a listen

i've been a fan since i saw them in 2014 when they opened for paramore and fall out boy. that whole concert will forever be one of my all time favorites. the vibes were immaculate. the singer is so fun to watch, and they all look like they really enjoy what they do. I really wish they would have a headlining tour because they are way too good to be opening for other bands still to this day. i need to see them do a full set one day! 'disappear here' is one of my all time favorite albums! it is just banger after banger, no skips whatsoever. my favorites being 'off she goes', 'swimming in the moonlight', and 'even in my dreams i cant win'. their whole discography sounds like being your happiest self outside in warm summer sunshine.

Agree w many bands already listed. I’d add: Bonny Doon - sublime slacker rock, 2 lead vocalists who put their own twists on their lead songs. Can get heavier when they want. Hot Chip - finally saw them live May 2022 after listening to them for a decade+, and it was one of my favorite shows of all time. The fact that they aren’t as big as LCD is mind boggling to me...
