all it took for me is to take a walk with my friends in the marine town near my town to forget about what i was going through, i felt like i could live right there for years
Opinions will definitely be divided here. There are people who hate this part of the country as it's generally a bit more run down. I still think it's beautiful, the people are great (if you give a shit about being nice) and the cities are worth seeing. I have good memories of being in Nice and I also liked Marseille. Not huge on the Balkans, I do feel like the safety concerns are reasonable there. But hey, maybe you'd like it?
