it's completely free and there's essentially nothing you can't do. if you have any casual interest in 3d modeling or animation the basics are super quick to learn since they overhauled the UI, and a big plugin ecosystem that covers tons of my niche needs
it's free and easy to understand if you're already familiar with photoshop, illustrator, indesign, and XD. although, it's not really recommended to use figma for print bc it's meant for web only and indesign is still the standard.
there are a bunch of great figma plugins out there too that are also free to install. we mostly use figma for e-commerce prototyping/UX design and so far, we haven't encountered any problems sharing figma projects with clients.
