With that name, he's a paladin. A paladin I did not create but was cajoled into playing because my DM couldn't take the time to have me make a new character mid-quest (it was either play as Thoromyr or sit out the campaign). How bad could playing a paladin be, really? Just a few games, right? Yet he lives. Ugh, how I loathe him. I do everything I can to kill him, but he never dies. It is as if the dice gods know what I'm about. I play him like the paladin from Honor Among Thieves, but with a touch of Zap Brannigan from Futurama. He had a squire named Hamfast, but the poor youth died in a cave far from civilization. Now he has no one to groom him or the horses, listen to his inane ramblings about the tenets of the faith, or fetch the firewood. He is good at screwing up the shady dealings of the thief and mage in the party, which adds a nice character tension. I just wish someone else was playing him!

I played a character for a bit named Bubba who was a half-orc rogue. while rogues are usually stealthy and cunning, Bubba was oafish and clumsy. he was like a classic cartoon henchman, incompetent and cowardly and ultimaley focused on his own self preservation when the going got tough. the thing is, he was insanely lucky. so while he couldn't sneak to save his life, sometimes the guards would miraculously miss the 7 foot 5 orc hiding behind a tiny barrel, or sometimes he would happen to land a range attack at uncanny distance to avoid starting an encounter. most of the time though he would carelessly lead the party into easily avoidable combat scenarios, but what he lacked in brain he made up for in muscle. I'd say if you're playing with people who are down to have a good time and don't mind a character designed to throw a wrench in the plan, this is a fun archetype to play.

I'm the proud DM of a campaign that's been ongoing for the past 2 years and lemme say that characters we've got are a chaotic mess (I wouldn't have it any other way.) First off, we got a marionette doll falsely accused of a crime against the gods and gifted to a time demon! Now she's got amnesia and explores the world with a childlike wonder. All while trying to figure out who she is and where she's from. {Fun fact: this character is mute and speaks through a severed warforged head} Then we have a cleric with daddy-issues! Lol, this is our pseudo-wizard, in love with research and figuring out all the lore and mysteries I have to offer. Their deity is the god of forgotten things so they get visions of things and people who are lost to time and are dedicated to remembering them. Next up, we *had* a rogue-ish wizard with ties to a mafia family. They were suave as fuck and down to get dirty when it came to interrogations. Once we transitioned out of the underground mountain city that I based off of Las Vegas the player wanted to try smth new. ^^ Said players current character is an old-man adventurer who's trying to get back out there and find his estranged sons. Super dope concept. He's real grumpy and stubborn but goes along with the party just fine (most of the time) And lastly....another cleric?!?! Jkjk this is my travelling NPC that's been with the party since the beginning. She's devoted to the deity of magic and moons but is grappling with her religion currently due to some past things with her church (my players don't know this yet) long story short they mightttt be looking for her. {Yeah, that's it for now! We might have another wizard joining the party soon so that will be fun, I would add in lore for what's going on in the campaign but this post is soooo long alr lol}

Played a campaign for a year before the DM asked me if I was willing to become the big bad. After dozens of sessions of working together with the guys, I was acutely aware of their blind spots. We had a pretty tense moment where it went from 4 vs DM to 3 vs DM + me. Absolutely loved exploring the weaknesses. DM did a good job of keeping the balance too; I was only able to exploit to the best of my own abilities + what I knew about the rest of the party. We all cried at the end btw.
