Nobuhiko Obayashi is probably one of my favorite filmmakers of all time and I usually turn to his work often for comfort.
This one in particular fills me such a beautiful ache of nostalgia and longing. The use of color to illustrate the dreamy nature of love and lives lived is gorgeous. I genuinely think this is a film everyone needs to see
