I believe this is my favorite music artist that has the lowest amount of music streams. It is a really amazing emo band. I love the energy and it feels very unique. They have two really great albums on Spotify that I recommend listening to. There is some top notch stuff made by this band.
This album remains #1 on the RateYourMusic Midwest Emo all-time chart, but has virtually no digital footprint beyond niche online communities and live videos from people who were lucky enough to experience their live shows in New Hampshire. I discovered Brave Little Abacus nearly 10 years ago and I'm still grieving the fomo of being a teenager in Massachusetts during this time, yet having no idea that this special band was creating one of the best midwest emo albums a half hour away.
Small, but growing band who have been sporadically releasing singles for the past couple years. They have an album on the way too. they actually sound like something new and refreshing but bring some of the raw emotion and symphonic explosions that earlier BC,NR had but make it their own by incorporating more tenderness and acapella (which actually works and doesn’t sound annoying). stop reading my ramblings about how great they are and just go listen to them!
got nothing to do? go see a movie at noon. cheaper prices, less crowded, and sometimes they show some old stuff that you might not have had the chance to see in theatre
