I feel like this is a classic for a reason. It feels super flexible. It can be great for formal situations but also can be fine for a casual email. I will switch out with a few others for more casual emails but my auto-fill signature will always be this. Sincerely, Sharktits
it’s endearing to me when older people at work or in life put little text graphics and inspirational quotes in their email signature. Especially when they’re blue or pink or turquoise. Throw in some comic sans, a low res image, do you girl
This was recc'd somewhere, I totally forget where - but I love updating this every week and I get to highlight some PI poets and my coworkers really enjoy it
I think we tend to romanticize letters a lot, and for good reason, but this often comes at the expense of devaluating emails so I just wanted to share my love for emailing. I send a lot of emails at work and I tend to enjoy it. I like how ridiculous office lingo is, I like designing my special signature at the end of my emails because it makes me feel creative and important. I like sending a long and thoughtful email to my friends or my professors in university, like you would do with a letter but without having to pay for stamps, wait forever for it to arrive, or having to worry if it will get lost.
I also like that it’s not as instantaneous as texting, but just enough for it to feel timely. Also because it’s not suuuper instantaneous, it kinda feels more intimate, or like a rare pleasure. I like sending emails to my friends. Email pen-palls rock. Send more thoughtful emails :)
My friend Liam got sent these by accident when he ordered vans and gave them to me since they sent him size 13. These shoes are goofy and I don't know who would buy them but I wear them all the time because I think they're really fun and have a lot of character.
