Super interesting documentary that’s shot with unbelievably great cinematography. It’s about an 100 year old guy who owns the largest renaissance fair (in the world?? i don’t remember) and all the internal politics of running it and who will take over when he dies a lot of humor and a lot of heart.
super cool - bleakly answers the question of ”what” a pseudo-influencer does. obvi an extreme example & guy’s a character but def captures a crazy moment in time
directed by (a) safdie brother(s) (?), it’s a mini series about the oldest renaissance faire in the USA, and the self titled king that owned it, along with the property. Weird history, weird guy. (actually just passed) . If you like safdie bros. stuff, you’ll like this. Not super long.
