if you like star trek or doctor who, this is a mix of both and is also totally ridiculous. cyborgs, wormholes, a human cat, time travel, mpreg, a transfem computer, this show has it all
it’s a movie where disgusting spaceworms eat everyone. it’s a very very very low budget sci-fi action horror comedy. basically these spaceworms come to earth in search of these “crystals” which are a powerful resource to them but on earth it’s just cocaine. but it also kills them if they touch it. so this crime noir PI and cokehead girl have to help a german scientist develop a machine to pump cocaine into the atmosphere to kill the spaceworms. the special effects are so bad they’re good. the cinematography regarding the alien worm race just works. this movie is objectively complete garbage but it’s so fun lmao. it’s only available on youtube.
Gorgeous and otherworldly braided story of folks stranded on a fantastical alien planet (that's half Codex Seraphinianus and half Heavy Metal magazine). A little intense and violent after the first few episodes, but the narrative is sophisticated & character development well done.
