This is a trio of attractions near Chattanooga, Tennessee that sits on the intersection point of 7 different states! (Although I think the entrance point is technically in Georgia.) My friends and I went there for our high school graduation trip when we were 18, and the scenery was gorgeous. Rock City is a stone nature path through some cliffs and forest, with some cute kitschy gnomes perched around and some great photo spots. The Rock City paths lead to Lookout Mountain, which has the point where you can see the seven different states and the waterfall coming from the cliff. Ruby Falls is a waterfall that goes 260 feet underneath Lookout Mountain into some caves. The tour of the caves is super cool & the waterfall is the deepest underground public waterfall in the U.S. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area!

My grandad lived in Knoxville, TN, so we always used to go visit him and then take a drive over to Chattanooga and spend the day there, mostly at the aquarium. Nashville was a super memorable trip for me, just roaming around not really knowing where to go and stumbling into the Johnny Cash museum (I’d definitely recommend) and a bunch of great restaurant. Would definitely recommend driving around the state during the springtime when it gets a little warmer.

It’s a huge, beautifulllll conservation area with towering red/tan mountains just on the outskirts of the city with lots of hikes to choose from! They can range from a couple hours long to all day affairs. There’s one main road that loops through the entire park that's definitely worth driving around if hiking isn’t the vibe. You could also stop and stare at some of the rock climbers for a bit. Overall it’s very pretty and I highly highly rec. Separately there’s also some hot springs in Arizona near the Hoover dam that are nestled into a slot canyon.

Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Dollywood, smoky mountains! It’s a vibe, where I accidentally took my hardest pic yet

I love doing collages, cuz all you really need are magazine cutouts and glue. There's a very low barrier to entry, skill-wise AND supply-wise, unlike painting. Digital collages are fun too, but I try to have less screentime by doing the paper ones. If I want to re-use pieces instead of gluing them down permanently, sometimes I'll just take a picture of the current arrangement to immortalize it, and then start over on a new composition. That way, I don't have to constantly buy new magazines to get new cutouts. This is one of my favorite ones I've done so far:

This is the only thing that keeps me sane at work. It's so slow right now. If anyone is wondering why I've posted like 9 times today.

i always get stuck choosing which stuff to watch/read/get into next when i look at my huge former watchlists & TBR's. a lot of items are things i put on there years ago and never got around to, so usually by the time i check the list again, my tastes have totally changed. i realized it was hard to get myself excited or motivated about half the stuff i put on there anymore, but i felt indebted to knocking it out anyway just because it was on the list. i'd recommend letting your current feelings/impulses take the wheel, and trust that you'll come back around to any of the other options if they're right for you later on.
