As much as I hate to admit it, cold showers do deserve all the hype they get. I don’t think the shock factor ever goes away unfortunately, but once you’re in, it’s incredible. The feeling of a cold shower after a long workout, just waking up, or being in the sauna can and will change your whole day.
my hot water was broken all weekend so I had to take cold showers and I could learn to like it. but now it’s fixed and i don’t think I could really do it if I didn’t have to🥶
Usually whenever I shower after the gym I’ll just shower in hot water then do a minute of cold water to finish off to help with muscles or something idk. But today cause I was feeling pretty good about myself I just blasted myself with cold water and holy shit!! The adrenaline was crazy!!!! Combined with the gym endorphins I got SUCH a rush. It also encouraged me to keep my shower short instead of dawdling like I usually do because I wanted to get the hell outta there!!! My gas and water bill will be thanking me. Maybe I should get back into the Wim Hof method.
I’ve actually found i love the shock and it’s apparently v good for the nervous system. I also try to rub an ice cube on my face every morning. embrace the cold!!!
Some of the best include:

It is my belief that so many people would be less lonely if they invited their friends to do their mundane errands and chores together. Dont have time to see your friends, cant afford to go out to socialize? Invite your friends to things you already will be doing and it ease some of the pain of the responsibilities. Or call someone to come over if you made a little too much for dinner. here is what I shared tonight: chicken thighs, fairy tale eggplant, fennel salad, and a nice groleau red wine
