One of my favorite new acts, and if youâre in NYC you can catch them at their debut U.S. show on August 16th that Perfectly Imperfect is presenting with our good friends You Missed It. You can get tickets here if that sounds fun (hint: it will be fun). The big missing link of the whole indie sleaze revival thing has been a bass heavy dubstep inspired act, and Bassvictim has managed to bring this sound back in a way that feels very very fresh rather than merely nostalgia. This is especially apparent on their new single Alice which feels inspired by peak M.I.A, and donât sleep on the acoustic version.

Of all the new singles by rising post punk band, Been Stellar, I think this is their strongest. âPassing Judgementâ is edgy, harkens back to 90s grunge, and has been stuck in my head for weeks now.
âScream From New York, NYâ their debut album is out June, 14th, and is definitely one to have on the radar.
