sza’s first album, z
at my current point in life, her newer stuff unfortunately doesn’t resonate with me but man does this album age like fine wine. love her earlier vocal stylings. the lyricism is sort of cryptic and mysterious but vulnerable at points. the production is so crisp yet vast. it’s a 2014 time capsule that doesn’t really date itself and a keystone in the progression of my music taste.

findingfranque you can totally see it’s influence in music over the last decade which is why it shocks me that no one really brings it up when it’s still not outdated (even with a chance the rapper feature) and some of her best work
